Inside Sales Account Executive

We are looking for a Inside Sales Account Executive who will support the sales team in generating new business by outbound calls or internet engagement by finding and qualifying leads. Working with both existing and prospective customer, you will identify who the decision makers are, determine what the customer needs and explains our products and service to convert them into qualified leads for the Business Development Managers.
Researching the market, to source credible leads and ‘cold calling’ multiple businesses daily,  you will need to interrogate the information you are presented through in-depth conversations whilst keeping the CRM system updated at all times.  Once you are fully okay with our business, you will be asked to handle some key accounts which you will support from a sales point of view, with the aim to increase sales and cross sell.

Position Overview:

Reporting into the Business Development Manager, this role would suit someone who loves talking to potential new clients and finding the right people to talk to.  You need the ability to be able to qualify all the leads you generate and keep the CRM system updated.  You will need a high level of attention to detail whist you research and qualify leads either over the phone or internet.  Very clear communication is vital. You will also be asked to handle some key accounts, covering all the sales cycle.
Being planned and organised is key with the ability to set up face to face meetings with the BDMs as well as providing general administrational duties for the sales team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Researching the market to identify credible sales opportunities by identifying key players and generating interest
  • Pass potential leads to the Business Development Managers
  • Maintain and expand database of potential customers
  • Set up a number of weekly meetings for the Business Development Managers
  • Proactively nurtures Tier 2 accounts and ensures all actions are documented in the Tier 2 plans.
  • Consistently maintains all records in CRM to ensure that Bi-Weekly Funnel / Forecast report for the Business is accurate at any given time.
  • Ensure all documents and letters as required by the Company in dealing with Partners and / or Vendor’s are completed accurately, efficiently and confidentially.
  • Proactively maintains all computerised Sales and System based records (CRM), to ensure they are consistently accurate and relevant management information and reports may be easily extracted.
  • Ensures accurate information is efficiently exchanged within Minerva’s other functions, as required, and vice versa.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Fluent in English is essential, Farsi, French or Arabic is an advantage.

  • Proven track record of inside sales experience.
  • A motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Pro-active and not afraid to take the initiative, especially in new and unfamiliar situations such as: researching new territory, new verticals or product lines and presenting BDM with qualified research.
Well planned and organised
  • Attention to detail and motivated to implement accurate and efficient administration methods / sales data capture in all aspects of work.
  • Must be highly organised with excellent time management and sound forward planning skills.
  • Ability to think strategically in formulating an effective Go to Market (GTM) strategy for a territory, vertical, product line etc.
  • Ability to fully document all information in CRM to ensure continuity of service.

Technical Competencies:

  • Must have strong knowledge of Word, Excel, CRM or equivalent.
